Prizes

Each winner will receive a prize of £250 and two tickets to The King's Singers performance at King's College Chapel, Cambridge on 4th December 2015 (courtesy of Concerts at King's), where they will be presented with a certificate by the sponsors of A Carol for Christmas, Woodfines Solicitors.

On the afternoon of 4th December in King's College Chapel, Stephen Cleobury, John Rutter, Richard Causton and The King's Singers will work with the winning composers of the Community Choir and SATB Choir composition categories in a workshop environment with choirs from across the UK.

The winning carols will then be performed, conducted by Stephen Cleobury.

The winning entry in each category has the opportunity to have their piece published by Edition Peters subject to a mutually acceptable agreement between composer and publisher. The winning carols will be broadcast on Classic FM and the winning composers will be provided with a recording of their piece.

All entrants (composers) are invited to attend and observe the afternoon event on 4th December 2015. The King's Singers will premiere the winning 6-part a cappella composition as part of the programme for the evening concert.
